So set it accordingly to best fit the size of your hard drive. Just keep in mind, increasing the maximum number and/or the frequency of auto-saves could require larger hard drives to store all the backup project files because these do take up space. Therefore if you want to increase your chances of maintaining the best level of backups possible, increase the maximum to 999. When the maximum number of backups is reached, the newest auto-saved project overwrites the oldest. I have mine set to about 10 minutes, which is fine short term for things like power outages, but the more important setting for long-term failures is the 'Maximum' number of backups, which I believe defaults to 100. The top section is Backup, and you can choose the frequency of autosave. This helped save a few projects for me, but could have saved more had I used all the settings in FL.
